www.ONGCINDIA.com - ONGC has announced the recruitment of graduate trainee’s 842 post for the recruitment plan of 2014. Candidates who are graduates pass out can apply for ONGC Graduate Trainee Posts on or before 11th April, 2014. The online test will be held on 22nd June, 2014. There are some candidates who have doubt on the selection process and the exam pattern of the ONGC graduate trainee 2014. So, here is the exam pattern and selection process of ONGC Exam 2014.

The selection of 842 posts will be including online objective test, psychometric test and interview process. The eligible candidates 1st need to appear in the online objective test which will have 150 questions on professional knowledge, general awareness and quantitative aptitude subject for 3 hours of time duration. The final merit will include weight-age of written test, interview and qualification. The interviews will be held after the online objective test and each of you need to qualify that in case to get job in ONGC Recruitment 2014.

Exam Pattern of ONGC Recruitment 2014

The exam pattern of ongc recruitment exam will follow UPSC standards of IES exam. Below is the exam structure for each subject, no of questions and no of marks for each section.

As you can see the above table, there will be three subjects mainly (Professional knowledge, General Awareness, Aptitude test (which will include reading comprehension, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, numerical ability/quantitative aptitude). There will be NO NEGATIVE MARKING in online test.

The language of the test will be English, but if there is option to opt hindi, if you want. Candidates of General and OBC category needs to secure at lest 60% marks in online test, and SC/ST and PWD candidates need to secure 40% marks in the exam.

If you clear the online objective test then you will be called for psychometric test and interview by ONGC management. You need to qualify in Interview too, than only you will qualify for the post. Departmental candidates shall be given first consideration in matters of selection via-a-viz other candidates.
